To take advantage of this discount simply use the pack provided on collection of your camper and call ahead to your preferred campsite. You’ll need to provide a 25% deposit over the phone to secure your reservation, then present the key fob supplied with your hire vehicle on arrival to the site and pay the balance.
Campsite alternatives
Aside from established campsites, choices for an overnight stop is limited as in England and Wales it’s illegal to pitch up wherever you like. Car parks and lay-by’s are a no go for anything other than a 20 minute nap, there are however a couple of options:
Private land If you don’t ask you don’t get, after all they can only say no. The best approach is to be polite and honest about intentions and don’t push for a yes.
Motorway services Very handy if on a long haul as the name suggests they are well just off the motorway, but be sure to pay attention to the pay and display timings.
